Bring a KID to S.W.I.D.

Are you bringing a KID to SWID? We'd like to know! Please contact SWID KID Coordinator Mary Fries, abluecosmicmonkey (at) yahoo.com, with the names and ages of the children you'll be bringing.

We are setting up a children's space at the event, so please let us know if you have any extra camping gear that would yield well to creating a fantastic children's space (tent, easy-up, tarps, rugs, etc.).

We're excited to offer the great selection of children's activites listed below, but please note that there is no childcare provided by the organizers of SWID. If you are interested in offering any children's programming, please touch base ASAP! :)

Kids under 11 attend for free and discounts are available for families with more than three people over 11: $10 off each.

KIDS PROGRAMMING DESCRIPTIONS

Kid's Yoga Theatre: Mary Fries
Learn to become an owl, an eagle, a mountain, a dragon, or a tree whenever you want! Also learn to create electric circles with your friends. Then create your own yoga poses and use them to tell a story of creation!

ArtFusion: Marcy Gregoire
Combine fabric, wire, stones, branches, and other nature treasures to create original pieces of jewelry, sculptures, puppets, mobiles, fairy houses and whatever else we dream up. Display for all to see!

Songwriting Music Jam: Marcy Gregoire
Write, record and perform an original musical masterpiece, to celebrate the Interdependence of it all. Bring every instrument you can think of, the weirder the better, or just use some of ours.

Children’s and Fairies’ Circus Gang: Allison Wonderland
Children and fairies specializing in entertaining children and fairies; All are welcome to join the fun.
Session 1: Magical Adventure Walk in search of fairy signs and other magic in the woods. Children under 8 accompanied by adult.
Session 2: Creating Fairy Houses and other things fairies may need. All the while, sharing stories, singing songs and making merry.
