I am writing from a Bed and Breakfast called the Arilapa in Allejuela, Costa Rica.
I hear the familiar sound of the rushing river from this desk.
As I sink into the slower and more open space Ticos call "Tranquillo",
I am thankful to be aware of all the magic and great work that will be happening back home this month.
2011 is no longer new, and it is my hopes that it will hold deep promise for all of us, as we show up and support
the good work and play that we do, and help inspire each other to turn our baby steps into an empowered, meaningful

Right now, know, it will not be the government that will change the world, and make it what we want it to be. Our complaining will not make the world what we want it to be. It is upon each one of us to be the creators of what we want to see in this world. We need not be ambiguous in our visions. Let us not get caught in the darkness of pointing fingers at others, as there is no visioning in that. If you believe you lost in this election, or if you believe you have won, behind the hype, we all want the same things.
