FROM FOOD TO MEDICINE: Self Healing & Diet In Ayurveda
with Joseph Immel, founder of Joyful Belly
Thursday, May 28, 6-9pm
Ayurveda, a sister science of yoga, is rooted in India and is a 5000
year old practice. Ayurveda has perfected the art and science of keeping
the mind, body, and spirit balanced by simply observing and choosing the
appropriate tasty healthy foods. Topics will include cooking for your
constitution, the digestion of food into consciousness, and a foundation
for the eight healing qualities of food. We will explore food cravings
and beautiful recipes that will bring a holistic perspective to your own
creativity in the kitchen. $38 suggested donation
