Ancestor Ritual

Join us as we honor those that have come before us, in song, story, prayers, meditation.

Please arrive between 7 and 7:30 pm, as we will be going into sacred space shortly thereafter, and the gates will be closed until 11. At 11, the ritual will end, the gates will open and those who wish to stay longer are invited to sit down together for a pot-luck meal.

This event will include calling the four directions, opportunities to share stories about our ancestors, a meditation in the barn, and a short Dance of Universal Peace. You are welcome to lend a photo, or any other objects sacred to you or your ancestors, to our altar space; or if there is something you'd like to let go of, there will be an opportunity for that as well.

If you would like to join us for the meal at 11, please bring a dish. There will be ovens and fridges available.
