8th Sacred Fire Fundraiser with Incus, Kalimba Sound System, and Kali Das at Earthlands

The 8th Sacred Fire Gathering is a profound event that occurs on the beautiful land known as Earthlands Preserve. Put on by the Sacred Earth Network, the event involved bringing Native Elders together with folks into sustainability and earth based spirituality. It was a profound weekend for many who attended.
This year's event ended up in the red, so the heARTbeat Collective, a different organization than the one who produced the event, have decided to invite folks out to the Lodge and the Land for the weekend, and have some fun. We'll be joined by the wonderfully groovy Kalimba Sound System. And Incus, with Kara Trott, Chris Baum, Kellianna, Regan Gibson, and Jason Cohen, will be performing as well. Incus will be joined by the lovely and talented Kali Das from Vadalna Tribal Dance Co. Admission is $15-50, and ***no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Instruments and Drums are welcome. The event opens at 2pm on Saturday, with programming starting at 6pm. We're doing a potluck on Saturday evening at 7pm, KSS plays at 8:30, followed by Incus at 9:30pm. For those folks that live close by, we'll be continuing with a brunch, and we'll be walking the land on Sunday. Perhaps Larry can give us his famous tour of the land. Please bring enough food for yourself and to share. Earthlands is a vegetarian retreat center. The performances are happening inside the Lodge but we'll probably have a fire going outside for a short while as well. Dress warm and in layers.
