About Qi Gong:
Qi Gong means breath, body, and energy, combined with mind to do work. It's a set of skills to manipulate the subtle energy of the body, to cultivate, enhance and purify the basic life force. Qi Gong is learning to relax into your body to create peace and wellbeing. The techniques of Qi Gong originated in China through martial artists, holy men, and doctors, as such the primary goals of are either martial power, healing, spiritual wisdom, or all three. Though it was discovered in China, this art and science is a treasure for all people.

About Ross Duncan:
Ross Duncan is a massage therapist and skilled martial artist, with a true life calling to constantly learning and deepening his abilities in healing practice, martial practice, and in sharing the teachings with others.
He became immersed in the Tao Te Ching at the age of 14, finding these teachings to carry a profound truth.
Shortly after he began studies in martial arts and found his primary teacher at Kamiza in Apex, NC, SP Sully, a Taoist master of the grandest tradition. Duncan studied at Kamiza for 7 years, completing their intensive apprenticeship program in martial and healing arts, forms of Jujutsu, Bujutsu, Tae Kyon and a branch of Natural School Wushu called Chuan Fa.
During the apprenticeship, Duncan was introduced to the healing methods SP Sully brought into his teachings, such as Qi Gong, Nei Gong (a seven stage system using an internal cultivation of breathing and exercise), and massage / bodywork.
Ross found these studies to be his truer passion and enrolled in a school for massage therapy, dedicating himself more deeply to a healing path.

Since completing his apprenticeship at Kamiza, he has been teaching these arts at every opportunity, as well as taking every chance to learn further from many different teachers. He has been focusing for the last several years on the internal Chinese martial arts, and the cultivation practices associated with them, of Ba Gua, Tai Chi, and Hsing I.

“I have been blessed by incredible teachers and teachings throughout my life, and it is my hope that I can with humbleness in my heart help spread these gifts that I have been so fortunate in receiving.” – Ross Duncan
