Come and join us at our co-sponsored event between the heARTbeat Collective and Spontaneous Celebrations at their community center at 45 Danforth St. in Jamaica Plain, just a few minute walk from the Stoney Brook Orange Line T stop. www.SpontaneousCelebrations.org.

8pm-11pm. Come and reclaim your inspiration with us in this drug and alcohol free space. Our intention will be to dance, drum, and listen, so we can weave in vocal magic and offerings. Bring a rattle and your dancing shoes. There will be a short orientation at 8pm, so please show up a few minutes early if you can.
Sliding scale suggested donation $5-10.

Entering the Unknown is an improvisational event where a set Group of movers, poets and musicians get together during the day and play with some improvisational structures and then Invite YOU to come and witness what we will present to you from 7-9 and then invite YOU to join us in some of the structures and a jam with words, sound and movement, if you are interested.

holds a degree from Harvard University and studied Ayurveda with Dr.

ayurvedic nutrition nationally and runs a clinic for affordable
ayurvedic care in Asheville, North Carolina

Green City Growers Urban Intensive Workshop

If you are interested in learning the skills that we are using to transform Boston into a Green City, join us April 25th for our hands-on full day Urban Intensive Growing Workshop. We will be exploring the principles of Urban Sustainability, and will be getting our hands dirty transforming an urban yard over the course of the day. Through discussion, games, and good old fashioned hard work, we will cover:

Site Design, Composting/Worm Composting, Organic Remediation Methods, Micro Farming, Market Gardening, Square Foot Gardening, Micro Livestock, Urban Homesteading, Four Season Harvest, Natural Building, Urban farmer’s treasure hunt

Lunch (Vegan friendly) will be provided

This Workshop will be held in the heart of Jamaica Plain at the HeartBeat Collective house.

Join us for another day of Cob Wall building! Information for the curious, hands (& feet) -on experience for those willing to get dirty, come experience an ancient, totally sustainable building technique that is experiencing a revival across the country! We will be joined by a hoard of City Year volunteers between 1 and 2, and will be making batches of "dough" and bricks all day. Come play in the mud!--

Psychodrama & Performance Playshop Week 4!
Registration has closed for this first fabulous series led by Teresa Dinaburg. And she assures us of a second series to follow! These classes are limited in size so for series 2 check back or contact her directly at the information below. It is a 7 week course where participants will be exploring physical theatre, clowning, playback techniques and psychodrama exercises, culminating in a public performance.

Join us Saturday April 11 for a community work day. Bring out the rakes and make that perfect leaf pile for jumping into or pour your good energy into the soil as we churn and airate it. We'll whisle as we work and have some good ol' rock in roll to get down to as well as space for anyone whos willing to share a musical talent. Contributions of all kinds are welcome be it hard labor, humor, strong hands for massages (oh those shovels do a number on your shoulders) vocalizing and especially that community minded attitude.
