Drum, Dance, and Sing: on a special 2nd Saturday in November

Drum, Dance and Sing.
Drum, Dance and Sing will be happening at Spontaneous Celebrations on Saturday, Nov. 12th.
Last month at Occupy Boston was incredible. This month we are moving back to our usual location to continue supporting
our relationship there. We have moved the night from Friday to honor our organization's 5th anniversary.

Drummers are welcome to bring their drums and join in the circle of drumming!
We share a break in the middle for song and most often we quite it down at the end and join our voices
together.
And, yes we DANCE!
$5-10 suggested donation
D,D & S runs the 2nd Friday of every month from Sept. to May

A few notes on getting started:
-if you are an inexperienced percussionist, hold the heartbeat or keep it simple and follow the lead of some of the more experienced drummers who will be present!...
-we ask that the musicians stay close to one another so that everyone playing can hear one another. Please fill in the area where folks are already playing first, before adding additional chairs to the outer perimeter
-we sometimes welcome space in between drumming pieces, for songs and melodic instruments
-Thank you, and see you on the dance floor

We hold this event at Spontaneous Celerations, 45 Danforth St., Jamaica Plain, just 3 minutes from the Stony Brook Stop
on the Orange Line.
